General information
Regular examinations of the Institute of Russian Language Pushkin for all levels are held twice a year:
• Winter period: in November and December
• Summer period: in May and June
Examinations for all levels always held on Saturdays, starting at: 10:00 am.
The average expected duration of examination is four (4) hours.
The date of examination for each level is announced thirty (30) days prior to conducting it. The location is announced ten (10) days before the date of examination.
At least ten (10) days prior to the examination, the participants must provide:
• Application form ( here )
• Proof of deposition the fees
• Photocopy of identity card/passport
The days of the examinations, the participants are required to carry a blue pen and their ID.

The Pushkin Institute follows the instructions of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which determines the levels of knowledge from A1 to C2, depending on one`s language skills as follows:
A1 (Breakthrough),
A2 (Waystage),
B1 (Threshold),
B2 (Vantage),
C1 (Effective Operational Proficiency),
C2 (Mastery).
