The language education of Pushkin Institute through courses in Russian language cultivates the linguistic and intercultural skills of students, familiarize them with modern Russian reality and boosts self-esteem, increasing the possibilities of professional aspirations.

The Institute operates regular (4 hours per week), intensive, semi-intensive groups, groups teaching jargon, programs in Russian for businessmen, workers and students, as well as teaching Greek language for Russian speakers. In our Institute we also offer individual classes and courses aimed to the specific categories of students. During the summer the Institute runs summer courses for rapid learning of Russian language. The regular courses of the Institute are always held in small groups – five to twelve people. The Pushkin Institute, with very qualified teaching staff, provides high quality services in the field of teaching Russian language to adults, teenagers and children, Greeks and foreigners through the planned courses of each academic year. The cycle of classes is implemented by our teaching staff and carefully controlled by our Educational Board. Our teachers are graduates of Russian language and literature departments and hold an MBA degrees from the University of Moscow and St. Petersburg. The method of implementation and teaching courses in Russian and Greek combines conventional and modern alternatives with the usage of audiovisual, electronic and print sources. The Pushkin Institute of Athens meets the criteria of the European Union and constantly seeks innovation and creativity. The beginnings of regular courses are scheduled in the months of October, November, December and January. The remaining courses may be starting all year round. The Pushkin Institute offers Russian language classes during all twelve months of the year from 9 am to 10 pm Monday through Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 9 pm, except July and August when the courses of Russian and Greek are held from 10 am to 6 pm, which are hours of operation of the Institute for those months. The Institute follows the official state program of holidays. Classes are held at the Institute or in other suitable places, upon request, approved by the Institute. The conduct of the courses and operation of the Institute are governed by internal rules of operation. The dates of enrolments and new courses are announced on the page “News of the Institute”.
